We actually discovered Aquaworld Resort Budapest quite by chance, while looking for a place to relax and enjoy some quality family time in the water with my wife and our two small children. Some of the reviews initially made us hesitant, but we decided to give the resort a chance—and we are very glad we did! First things first: yes, neither the hotel nor the aquapark are brand new, and the years of operation are somewhat noticeable. However, it’s certainly not in poor condition, as some reviews might suggest. Everything we came into contact with was clean and functional (except for a minor issue with our in-room fridge that leaked slightly, though we forgot to mention this at the reception). The mattresses were comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade during check-in (we received apartment C 04). Staying in the apartments means you’re not as close to the aquapark as hotel guests, but the five-minute walk is perfectly manageable. As for the food, which some guests have criticized, we found it absolutely fantastic. Both breakfast and dinner offered plenty of variety, with something for everyone—meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes, homemade desserts, great wines, simply excellent. One morning we tried breakfast delivered to our room (just a small extra charge of 2000 HUF for room service; the food itself is included in your rate). The lovely staff brought us a freshly prepared, tasty, and generous breakfast. We even believe the croissants and pastries were freshly made in-house, as they tasted exceptionally good. Some reviews mention staff being unfriendly, but our experience was quite the opposite. From receptionists and restaurant staff to housekeepers and lifeguards in the aquapark, everyone was friendly and helpful. In fact, the staff was one of the key factors that made our stay so pleasant. Parking was also very convenient. There’s a large parking area directly in front of the hotel for both hotel guests and aquapar

We booked 2 room apartment which had a balcony overlooking the pool area. The room was fantastic and big enough to accommodate us along with 2 kids aged 4 and 2. The room had amenities like AC, bathrobes, small kitchen area that included fridge, microwave, coffee machine and sink. The food in the hotel was served as buffet with plenty of options to choose from. There were a lot of things to do in the hotel apart from many outdoor and indoor pools like the playway area for kids, the game room, squash court, fitness centre, spa, lots of outdoor area for kids just to play around. Would definitely recommend everyone to stay in this hotel if they are visiting Budapest especially with kids. The hotel staff was friendly, they accommodated us for early check in and late check out due to the flight times-- this ofcorse had cost associated with it. Overall the hotel was fabulous and wonderful.

We enjoyed the stay overall, the room is spacious and has everything you need, the bed is amazing and you even get a pillow menu. The breakfast and dinner are good, with great options even for picky eaters and children. The spa and aquapark are great, there is a separate area that can be accessed only by those staying in the hotel, but it is quite small and if the outside pool is not in use, there are not a lot of sunbeds available (also, if it rains, they close down this area completely because it rains through the skylight). You have a fast restaurant in the aqua park where you can buy food for lunch using your hotel bracelet and you pay at the end of your stay, so is quite comfortable. Overall a great hotel and aqua park. Great choice if you are travelling with children who are old enough to go on the slides.

We had the Junior suite and that was big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The king side bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed was not very good, ok for one night though. The food for breakfast and dinner was great, lots of choices and delicious. The aqua park was accessible from the hotel and had entertainment for any age. I wasn’t too sure about the sauna world as now a part of it is designated for naturists. Even though the sign said that privat body parts should be covered with a towel, there were a couple of men walking around naked between teenagers ( boys and girls ) which I found very uncomfortable.

- Waterpark was wonderful. It was a great to experience it during cold water. I believe that it is one of the best indoor waterparks. - You can enjoy a resort experience in a indoor environment. - Hotel is not new but they are doing their best to maintain it as good as possible. - Location is good for a large hotel complex. Just a short taxi trip away from city center and airport. - Overall price is very good compared to facilities that you enjoy. - Probably hotel management is not happy with it but hotel is not crowded. You can enjoy every attraction without waiting queues.
